Learn English in Gozo

Gozo , Malta 's neighbouring island, is only located 5 kilometres from the main island of Malta and can be reached easily by ferry or boat in about 25 minutes. The character of Gozo is distinctly different from Malta 's: Gozo is more rural and pristine, the economy of the island is primarily based on fishing and agriculture. Life here is relaxed and peaceful, providing a wonderful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Gozitans are widely known for the warmth and helpfulness they show towards visitors.
Gozo's landscape is greener and more idyllic than in Malta , with unspoilt coastlines and picturesque villages, where time seems to stand still. Here, you can enjoy the warm sunshine and a glass of wine under the leaves of the trees in one of the traditional village bars!
The geographic and cultural heart of Gozo is Victoria (also known as Rabat ), which is centered around the citadel and the colourful market place. But Victoria also boasts a thriving cultural life, ranging from opera to horse racing which you can enjoy while you learn English with us!

Other famous sights, which you can visit one of our language school's organized trips, include the ancient temple complex of Ggantija and the prehistoric stalactite caves at Xaghra. The caves are also close to Ramla Bay , the largest sandy beach on the island where you can relax and bathe in the warm waters of the Mediterranean .
In Victoria and its neighbouring fishing villages, you will find an abundant choice of restaurants offering fresh seafood as well as local and international cuisine. Gozo is a very safe place - the criminality rate is close to zero, and you can walk around safely even during the night.
